In preparation for the Sunday upgrade we need a brief outage tonight. Between 2130 and 2230 AEST there will be a five minute outage.
Summary
We are upgrading our uplink to increase capacity to our Unified Platform. As part of this process we will be changing to a new Internet provider. This new provider will enable us to double the current throughput capacity.
This process will require a brief outage between 01:00 and 01:30 AEST. The actual outage should only be around five minutes.

The issue with the uplink has been resolved and data flow is returning to normal parameters.

Summary
We have observed high packet loss on one of our routers. This has led to a degradation of service on that uplink and may lead to connectivity issues for some customers.
Technicians are working with our uplink provider to resolve this issue.

Since resolving the data corruption server operation has now stabilized.
Update 2:35pm
Technicians are working on some corrupted data that we believe led to the issues on the m4-mysql1-1 node.

The database server has been stable for the last hour. We will continue to monitor it closely.

No changes at this time
Update 8:55am
Despite the node being stable all night it is currently showing intermittent issues again this morning. Technicians are working on it now.
Update 4:29pm
We are still not happy with the performance of the MySQL node. Technicians continue to work on it.

The node has been stable for a little while now. We’ll continue to monitor is before flagging this as resolved.

Some functionality has been returned but interruptions to the site are still intermittent.

Impact: Credit card payments made to Ilisys may be declined

Summary:
Due to an issue with the Commonwealth Bank, credit card payments are currently failing. We apologise for any inconveniences caused by this interruption.
Update, 11:00 AEDST: The issue is related to a national EFTPOS/ATM network outage that Commonwealth Bank are experiencing at present.
Update, 11:50 AEDST: We have been advised by our merchant provider that the CBA payment service has been restored, and we’re now able to take credit card payments as normal.

Impact: Spam blocking not functioning

Summary:
Following yesterday’s upgrade, some clients have noticed an increase in spam being delivered to their mailboxes.
Further investigation revealed that our Greylisting was not functioning for all email. Our operations team are working to restore this service, which should spam mail being delivered into mailboxes.
Update, 16:30 AEST: Configuration changes have been made to rectify our Greylisting. Clients should see a reduction in spam in email now being delivered to their mailboxes.

Our operations team has identified an issue causing slow email delivery and are working toward resolving the issue.

The issue causing slow delivery has now been resolved. Our email queues will reduce back to normal levels shortly, meaning quicker delivery times.

Impact: Some PHP driven websites on the Power Cluster

Summary:
Following last night’s upgrade, some clients have encountered issues with PHP scripts that specify a full path to files.
Any clients experiencing this issue are advised to update sites’ configuration to use the new format, which can be found inside the Customer Toolkit.
Our operations team are working on an interim solution to map old paths to the new structure.
Update: Some customers were experiencing an issue with PHP’s “open_base” functionality. We believe this issue is now resolved however if any clients are experiencing further issues please contact support.

Client web sites will be unavailable from midnight AEDT, email will be queued and delivered after 07:00 AEDT.
